Truth Statement: I Am Strong
I don’t know about you, but sometimes when the uphill battle gets a bit overwhelming I feel weak. The longer I’m stuck there with a limp the more I feel under-qualified to conquer that mountain. Circumstances feel bigger, people seem more powerful, and I am left shrunk down to miniature size.
the lie: I am weak, I can’t ___, I am less than ____.
Yet, the very moment I linked arms with Jesus, was the moment He cloaked me with something else. Jesus took himself and clothed me in strength. He wrapped me in the ribbons of His fortitude. He infused me with the resilience of His Spirit. He gives me strength.
Strength and Honor are her clothing; she shall rejoice in time to come. Proverbs 31:25
