Truth Statement: I am Whole (Guest Post!!)
You guys ~ today it is my absolute honor to welcome my dearest friend, my Word warrior, my confidant, my soul sister! Beth Kinder loves Jesus so deeply and shares every part of her world with Him. She is the founder and president of Remade Ministries and she inspires me to not only dive nose first into the Word of God, but challenges me to listen for His voice even in the midst of my crazy life.
Show Beth some love in the comments as she leads us in the transforming wholeness of God’s truth. And then go check out her awesome blog and join us on Facebook, seriously the most fun on the internet! (Links are at the end of this post).
She sat opposite of me, tears slowly streamed down her face. Every word from her mouth agreeing with the lie that God could never use her. She had made too big of a mess in her life.
The lie: God can’t use me.
When we align with this lie, essentially we declare our sin and past more powerful than God. Our words render the work of the cross and the gift of grace ineffective in our eyes. Yet, the truth is the cross makes our sins, mistakes, and messy past completely invisible before God. He simply doesn’t see us like that anymore.
He has reconciled you to himself through the death of Christ in his physical body. As a result, he has brought you into his own presence, and you are holy and blameless as you stand before him without a single fault. Colossians 1:22

Isn’t Beth amazing?! I seriously adore her. She is not afraid to tell me when my writing is … well, stinky. Nor does she hesitate to sit on the couch with me ALL DAY while we sip coffee and chew on God’s word. We’ve talked ’til it’s dawn, we’ve cried horribly ugly tears and laughed until it hurt. She loves on my kids and lets me hang out in the oh-so-coveted corner of her couch. This woman is the real deal. And I don’t think she realizes just how much she has helped me find wholeness. I’m forever changed.
Come check her place out- seriously – you’ll want to pour a second cup and simply hang out (you just can’t have the corner spot on her couch- I’m hogging it- unashamedly).
